An Early Career Conference in Radioactive Waste Geological Disposal in the UK will be organised in Year 3 of the GeoSafe project, in 2025. The conference, to be advertised internationally, will host talks and networking workshops designed by the ECR community, and showcase GeoSafe and Geological Disposal Research.
Funding support will be provided for UK students, including those from under- represented backgrounds. GeoSafe will promote the participation and attendance of the GeoSafe researcher community in the Nuclear Waste Services Research Support Office (RSO) yearly research conference.
