GeoSafe Project

GeoSafe will conduct an Annual Culture Survey, and we will run annual Town Hall EDI sessions to ensure pro-active responses to any identified issues. Town Hall meetings are an inclusive/open forum for discussion of topics relevant to all attendees. Town hall sessions are held at the GeoSafe annual meetings, and their main output will be agreed as a series of actions. The Annual Culture Survey is the principal feedback mechanism to quantify and monitor the culture of our project, and to cross-compare changes across the years. Strategies to address issues raised will be discussed and developed by the EDI Committee, and the responsibility to address the issues will ultimately lie with the Management Committee. GeoSafe will also provide cohort training in EDI through the Dalton Nuclear Institute at Manchester. The Annual Culture Survey will be co-ordinated by NWS.
