Data Management Plan
The project involves the collection and generation of diverse datasets across different work packages. Work Packages 1 and 3 focus on multi-scale 2D, 3D, and 4D images, as well as geochemical, petrophysical, hydrological, and mechanical measurements. Work Packages 2, 4, and 5 contribute datasets ranging from physical signals in text files to geological sequences and simulation data with a maximum size of 50TB. Each participating institution will follow its own internal data collection standards, and quality control protocols, as outlined in the Data Management Plan that has been filed with the National Geoscience Data Centre (NGDC). Work Packages 6 and 7 generate datasets documenting experiments in various file formats. The data will be stored in the NGDC, ensuring long-term stewardship and timely dissemination. The delivery of datasets is anticipated to begin twelve months after the project’s initiation. In general, complete datasets are scheduled to be uploaded three months after the completion of each work package. Details of the timelines for each work package can be found in the Description of Work, as submitted to NERC in March 2023.
