The project will also be overseen by an Advisory Board (AB). This Board contains two representatives from Nuclear Waste Services, and one each from two international Nuclear Waste Management Organisations, NAGRA (Switzerland) and SKB (Sweden). The role of the Advisory Board will be to evaluate the progress of the project, and offer recommendations for corrections or modifications to the project work.
Specifically, after each six-monthly project plenary meeting, the Advisory Board will propose scientific and technical adjustments that align with external requirements and related learnings within the scope of GeoSafe, striving to produce relevant research of exemplary quality. The Management Committee will then provide a formal (written) response to these recommendations.
